Waverley cliff walk

Yes, even though it was overcast we still walked today and as a result were rewarded by rich colours, cool temperatures and no rain at all.

The walk is predominately along the cliff face and so offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the sandstone cliffs that mark the meeting of land and sea and offers a view few people bother to investigate.

Requiring little effort we walked along the stretch of grassed and sometimes boardwalk areas.

Wild seas, grassy knolls, dog walkers and the occasional rock fisherman kept us company.

It made me glad I had made the effort to see the landscape under these conditions. I’ve always said that overcast skies are fantastic to shoot under and today was no exception.

Well done to all those who braved the elements today..

Looking forward to next month…
