I had a fantastic day today at Societe Food and Wine bar chatting with people who stopped by for lunch or to see our Frozen Lenses exhibition.

The exhibition is an associated event with the Head On Photo Festival that runs for 5 weeks during May and June each year. Christine Bernasconi and I put together this body of work after our trip in January this year.

For 12 days we lived an incredible dream.

We participated in ship cruising, in zodiac cruisings and landings, we went on extended land walks on islands and the continent, we camped and Chris did the polar plunge. About the only thing we didn’t do was kayak, and in hindsight this would have been an extraordinary thing to do as well.

Frozen lenses is now showing until the end of June at Societe Food and Wine Bar on Danks St Waterloo.

I’ll be on location at the cafe from 12 midday until late tomorrow, June 2nd, to share our experiences or to just answer questions about the images.
